Manassas Volleyball Club History
Manassas Volleyball Club was founded in 2013 by Glen Martin, a high school volleyball coach who wanted to bring competitive club volleyball to the Manassas community. What started with two teams and a shared love of the game grew quickly — by the second season, MVBC had doubled in size, adding teams and coaching staff as word spread through the local volleyball community. In 2016, the club earned its first hardware when the 16s and 17s teams both took Silver at MVSA in the same tournament weekend — a milestone that captured what MVBC was becoming: a program where hard work and development showed up when it mattered most. Over the years, hundreds of Northern Virginia athletes have called MVBC home, and more than a few of them have come back to coach the next generation. That kind of legacy doesn't happen by accident.
A New chapter. The same community.
Starting with the 2026/2027 season, Manassas Volleyball Club is evolving. RTB Volleyball — founded by longtime MVBC family members Danny and Jennifer Zambito — is bringing its player-first program home to Manassas, operating as Manassas Volleyball Club d/b/a RTB Volleyball - Manassas. The courts are the same. The community is the same. What's new is the standard: a renewed commitment to culture, coach development, and a player experience that puts athletes first in every decision we make.
MVBC built this community. RTB is here to make sure it grows into everything it was always capable of becoming.
