Manassas, Meet RTB

Starting with the 2026/2027 club volleyball season, RTB Volleyball is partnering with Manassas Volleyball Club to bring its player-first program to the Manassas community. MVBC will operate as Manassas Volleyball Club d/b/a RTB Volleyball - Manassas.

Glen Martin remains Club Director of MVBC and will continue in that role. Danny and Jennifer Zambito, co-founders of RTB Volleyball, will be deeply involved in day-to-day operations, communications, and program direction. This is a genuine partnership - MVBC's foundation and community, combined with RTB's culture and operating standard.

RTB was founded by Danny and Jennifer Zambito, longtime MVBC family members. Their daughter Madi played at MVBC for years and now coaches there. This is not an outside organization coming in - it is a family that has been part of this community for years, bringing a program they built from the ground up. Built by people who have raised an athlete, coached the sport, and now run a business - and who understand what each of those perspectives demands.

This partnership has been carefully planned since the spring. Glen was excited to move forward with this bold and exciting change for the MVBC community because he believes MVBC has earned the right to evolve into a program with a clear culture, a player-first operating philosophy, and the infrastructure to build on what MVBC has established over the past decade.

No. MVBC is not being sold and is not shutting down. The facility remains under Glen Martin's ownership and operation. The partnership is a branding, culture, and operational alignment - not a change in ownership. MVBC's courts, facility, and community continuity remain intact.

"Manassas Volleyball Club d/b/a RTB Volleyball - Manassas" means the legal entity (MVBC) remains the same, but the program will operate under the RTB Volleyball brand. Players will wear RTB uniforms, train under RTB culture and standards, and be part of the broader RTB program across both Chantilly and Manassas.

The MVBC name is preserved in the legal structure, on facility branding, and on player uniforms - out of respect for what Glen has built over the past decade and a half.

RTB Manassas will field teams from 13U through 18U for the 2026/2027 season. Full team details, coaching assignments, and tryout information will be published at rtbvolleyball.com in the coming weeks.

Yes. RTB Manassas will continue to train at the Manassas Volleyball Club facility at 9406 Center Point Lane, Manassas, VA 20110. The facility is one of the most valuable assets in Northern Virginia club volleyball - a fully-resourced indoor court that gives our Manassas players a consistent, high-quality training environment.

Families should expect proactive, organized, and frequent communications from club leadership. RTB takes transparency seriously - families are never left guessing about schedules, fees, tournament information, or program updates. Jennifer and Danny Zambito will lead communications for RTB - Manassas, with Glen Martin supporting throughout the season.

RTB Manassas and RTB Volleyball - Chantilly will have slightly different fee structures, reflecting the differences in each program's facility and operational model.

Tryout dates for RTB Manassas will be announced shortly and will appear on the RTB event schedule at rtbvolleyball.com. Tryout registration opens September 1st. Returning MVBC families are encouraged to register early - spots are not guaranteed based on prior participation.

Yes. Players will register for a specific tryout location but may indicate whether they wish to be considered at the other facility if not selected for their initial tryout location.

If a player attends tryouts at both facilities and receives offers from both, they will have the ability to choose the team that best fits their needs.

Manassas teams will compete in most of the same CHRVA and AAU tournament circuit as Chantilly teams, though there may be some variance by age group. Tournament schedules will be published on the RTB website once teams are formed and registered.

RTB holds every member of its coaching staff - at both locations - to a clear, consistent standard. Players First does not mean players are never challenged. It's quite the opposite. It means their development, experience, wellbeing, and growth as athletes and people are the center of everything we do. Sometimes that means pushing a player outside their comfort zone. We embrace those moments because they matter more to a player's development than what is showing on the scoreboard.

Absolutely. Manassas Volleyball Club was founded in 2013 by Glen Martin and has been part of hundreds of Northern Virginia players' stories over the past decade. That history is real, meaningful, and something we honor - not erase.

RTB Manassas is not a replacement for MVBC. It is the next chapter of what Glen started. And it is much more than a new logo on the door. We are building a program that will excite this community - one that our players and their families will be proud to be a part of.
